♥️ Ford Focus Engine System Fault Reset
For anyone who is looking for help: I drive a 2012 ford focus. I just replaced the battery on my own since the battery crapped out at a park and wouldn't be jumped. Afterwards most things reset and the service request started popping up and the check engine light turned on along with having trouble accelerating and braking.
Do a reset of you car by disconnecting the negative lead from the car battery and leave it off for 20 minutes. Then reconnect, wait 5 minutes and clear all the fault codes. If the P2176 code comes back then you will need to do the relearn procedure.

So far I have check the battery voltage (it's ok) and topped the battery up with a
Probably shorted when reconnecting a cable putting the PCM in “protect mode” or whatever it might be called. You have to disconnect the battery cables and hold them together to discharge the capacitors. Unplugged the three plugs on the pump/module (80amp power, steering position sensor and IC lamp/10amp feed) and checked that the connectors looked ok.. The plugs themselves seemed to fit snug although the IC/10amp feed had a broken latch to secure it in place although i pushed it firmly in and it felt pretty secure.
The Engine Oil Pressure Low warning indicates that the oil pressure in your engine is low. Ignoring this alert can cause severe damage to your engine. Your Ford EcoSport engine requires sufficient oil pressure for proper lubrication. Lubricating an engine properly will improve its efficiency. However, if your engine isn’t well lubricated, the

I have just had an engine system fault message come up on my screen which can be reset to show the normal information and a permanent red light. I tried leaving the car off for 10 minutes but the warning came back on as soon as the ignition was turned on again.
